Your new skills will be the icing on the cake!


This beginner cake decorating class will teach you the basics of piping and icing. By the end of the course, you’ll know how to pipe rosettes, shell borders, basket weaves, and buttercream roses. Learn how to fully ice a cake and create your own work of art.

Meet your instructor:
Ali Cleis has spent the last 15 years studying baking and pastry arts. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Academy of Culinary Arts and is currently an adjunct instructor at Pittsburgh Technical College. She was Pastry Demi Chef at the Biltmore Estate and also worked for Priory Fine Pastries as Lead Cake Decorator.
