Get up to speed (and fast) with Blender, open source and free 3-D creation software. In just two hours, this class will introduce you to the power of Blender and how you can use it to sculpt shapes and characters. 

Participants need to bring their own laptops and install Blender before the workshop. You can install the software here. https://www.blender.org/

Meet your instructor:
Frank Schurter graduated with an Illustration degree from Carnegie Mellon University before spending 10 years working in the video game industry as an artist and game designer. He also obtained a Masters in Multimedia from Duquesne University and is currently a multimedia instructor at PTC. The Columbus, Ohio native believes that expressing oneself creatively is as vital to our existence as breathing, and that’s why he seeks to inject creativity into every task.
